About the Role
YouthTV is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Designer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to design visually compelling and engaging posts for our social media channels. The Social Media Designer will collaborate closely with the Digital, Content, and Production teams to ensure brand consistency and relevance, while also keeping an eye on the latest trends to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into our social media strategy.
Skills needed for the Role
•Design Expertise: Strong skills in graphic design and visual communication, with proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
•Trend Awareness: A keen eye for current and emerging social media trends, with the ability to adapt designs to stay relevant and engaging.
•Media Law Awareness: Basic understanding of media law and its implications for digital content.
•Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills, able to work effectively with Digital, Content, and Production teams to bring concepts to life.
•Creativity and Innovation: A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh, original ideas and visually compelling content.
•Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, ensuring all designs meet YouthTV’s standards and resonate with our audience.

•Design and create visually appealing posts for YouthTV’s social media channels that align with the brand’s identity.
•Collaborate with the Digital, Content, and Production teams to ensure cohesive and effective visual communication across all platforms.
•Monitor and analyse social media trends to incorporate current and emerging styles into YouthTV’s content.
•Ensure that all designs are optimised for various social media platforms and devices.
•Assist in brainstorming and developing new creative concepts for social media campaigns.
